INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Deadline: March 31, 2004

Abstracts should be organised as in the example below, and formatted to be printed on one regular European A4 page (21.0 x 29.7 cm) with margins of 2.5 cm on all sides. Please use for the text font Times New Roman, size 10 and an interline spacing of 1.

Authors names (F. Rossi* and G. Green#) (registered presenting Author's name underlined), CENTERED
followed by another empty line
Authors' *affiliation (#s) and address(es) including e-mail, CENTERED
then another empty line

RESULTS: Text, ............
then another empty line
References should be cited in numerical order as they appear in text (in round brackets). A maximum of six references may be added and only the first author should be named in the citation (Green G et al. (1999) Nature 100, 12-15).

Abstracts must be submitted as e-mail attachments (format: Microsoft Word for Windows is suggested) to the following e-mail address:

within March 31, 2004, and indicating the classification of your abstract within the following topics:

1) Protein misfolding and deseases
2) Proteins in defence mechanisms
3) Advanced techniques for investigating proteins and their expression
4) Bioinformatics
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts by e-mail.
